Last Call- Eye Chart Edition

motorcycle-eye-chart

One of the great advantages of riding a motorcycle – its small size and ability to slip into traffic with ease – also presents the greatest danger in choosing two wheels over four. This print ad created by an ad agency for the UtahHighway Safety Office is a clever way of reminding car drivers to always be on the lookout for our two-wheeled friends. Can you name all the bikes on the chart just by their silhouettes? Or, do you need to get your glasses?

Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

As a former and future rider (miss my R100RT), I think the most appropriate reminder should be "Hey, you on the sport bike doing wheelies in traffic wearing flip-flops, no helmet and no shirt, Watch Out For Cars".

or "Hey dummy, do you have a will?"
What happened to your boxer? I've always had a soft spot for the air-cooled R bikes (side effect of being a rider & former VW owner, I suppose). The R65 seems like a great commuter/city bike, but they were sold in such small numbers here that it's tough to find 'em.

Sold it after I lost my office job, and started working for a painting contractor. Couldn't use it for work, and I was beat to hell after I came home. It started to sit more than it got ridden. It was a daily for me before. Used to time my lunch hour for when the Tampa Bay afternoon rains came, and ride home for lunch, put it away, and take a car back to finish out the day. Sold it back to the friend I bought it from. Still miss it. And I hauled all of my painting gear in my old VW Westy. Still miss that, too.

My sympathies, but good call on recognizing that it was better to sell & have it be used than let it sit & molder.
There's always another bike out there, just waiting. The time will come!
