Last Call: Dress for Excess Edition

When MOMO commissioned a custom Morgan 3-Wheeler in 2015, they had it sprayed with translucent blue chrome paint to give it that extra bit of visual punch. I guess a stock-looking Morgan is just too common and ordinary for them.
Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

I’m sure the S&S motor in the new Morgan 3-wheeler is a fine choice but I sure like the look of the old Matchless long-stroke twin a lot better. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/b4aeacd13dec973b66abb36014bfc1ecbde7a8911213e8e237422029cb522e3b.jpg

I’m impressed if that is paint. Looks more like polished aluminum panels were anodized blue.

That was my thought, too. It looks a bit like a holiday tree ornament, but even if it’s not a very tasteful paint job, it’s damned impressive.
It’d be a great alternative for restoring chrome bumpers that were heavily pitted.

I thought it looked like a wrap. Chrome effect colours look good as part of a race car livery, not sure about a normal* car though
*A Morgan 3 wheeler is not a normal car though, is it…
