Last Call- Classical Gas Edition

What better way to end the week but with the comfort of 1955 gas prices. Eisenhower was in the White House, Annette Funicello was taxing the stretchability of her Mickey Mouse Club Sweatshirts, and the Corvette grew a V8, it was the best of times. That new Corvette V8 was obviously more thirsty than its Blue Flame six predecessor, but with gas  at twenty and a half cents a gallon – including a penny for Uncle Sam – who cared? Remember, the only past that matters is the part you choose to remember. Hmmm, twenty cents a gallon. Sweeeeet.
