Last Call: BMW Land Cruiser Edition

Having successfully completed the joint venture of  Z4 and Supra development, BMW and Toyota are now supposedly in talks to develop an off-road capable utility vehicle. The ugly renders of the vehicles above aside, this isn’t a horrible idea. Toyota has been making some of the world toughest and best 4x4s for decades. Perhaps BMW can learn how to make a cooling system from them.

Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

BMW making intentionally reliable cars? Where’s the luxury in such a lowly endeavour?

I’m not sure that the grille will be big enough for current BMW brand image purposes.

So THAT’s what BMW gets out of the Supra/Z4 deal! Seems like a sound idea, but I’m more interested in the “X-wing model” that the comment mentions…

Saw an X7 today, big bucktooth grille very obvious, also smaller than I expected for 3 rows
