Iconic Ford Bronco Big Oly just had a big oof

Big Oly is an amazing piece of off-road racing and Bronco history. So much so, that someone recently spent nearly $2 million to acquire it. And it’s being put to use still, as it was down in Mexico for the Norra race. Whoever was driving it down there though just had quite an expensive moment. Big Oly wound up on its big head.

Per the description in the Instagram post above, the driver and co-driver were both ok. The truck was flipped back over and kept on racing. If this isn’t the proper use of an old racing truck, I don’t know what is. It’s an old Ford and it can definitely be fixed. While it’s a shame to see it upside down like that, I’m extremely happy to see it still being pushed hard in the dirt.

Well, it really was only a matter of time before the Artesians expressed their displeasure at Oly being discontinued.

Being “on the roof” never slowed Swedish rally driver Erik Carlsson down, in fact “Carlsson on the roof” was his nickname
