The Chrysler/Maserati TC has gone down in history as one of the more horrible offspring of two parents who may have imbibed too much chianti on the night of conception. That combination of Chrysler chassis and Maserati-modded motor lived up to neither the sporting pretensions of the Italians, nor the luxury pedigree of previous Chryslers. But doing the reverse should have the opposite effect, right? Here’s an ’84 Quattro Porte with what looks like a Mopar 318 under the hood.
