Hooniverse Asks: Which car will rule the floor at SEMA this year?

Every year at SEMA, there’s always that one type of vehicle that causes a splash. The Toyota Supra is likely to be the “it” machine at the 2019 SEMA show. It should prove to be accepting of body kits, wheel upgrades, and fresh suspension and brake options. Is it already tunable? Probably for companies already familiar with BMW computer and engine tech. That won’t matter at SEMA though, as the order of the day is looking good and Instagram likes.

Maybe the Ford GT500 has already found its way into the hands of a few tuners? With the rising popularity in old-school SUVs, there could be more love and focus spent on some of the modern off-roaders. The Jeep Gladiator is always an easy choice for SEMA gold as well.

Which vehicle do you think is going to be the it vehicle at the 2019 SEMA show? Sound off below

Somebody came out with a relatively inexpensive three wheel electric platform that can be converted to two wheel internal combustion. It is notable for reliability and braking prowess.

That photo is from an earlier stage in its development; since then significant improvements have been made in its weight, parking footprint, and anticipated ease of production. Its current form will be on full display at SEMA and, simultaneously, at many other locations worldwide.

We regret, however, a typo in the earlier press release: For “braking prowess” please read “breaking prowess.” This issue has been resolved.

I think I might feel safer on Edd China’s couch.

I’ll put it this way: I’m happy to take my HMV Freeway onto the freeway, which is a fair indication that my standards are not unreasonably high, but after having closely inspected this Xebra I’m glad its steering broke before I had a chance to drive it anywhere.

The Gladiator. It’s been long enough to have gathered a ton of accessories/modifications and people actually buy it.

This one is pretty sharp from the factory though.

The TCR version is sexy. Best shaped wheel arch flares I’ve ever seen

No performance version though, question is would anyone bother in the face of the rival make alternatives?
