I was browsing the internet on this, the last day of 2018 and I found this great picture on Car and Driver. The three great muscle cars on trailers that are attached to three great pickup trucks. I always try to solve the problems I don’t have, and in this case I was wondering which of the three single-company combos I would pick. And I was struggling with it.

I love the Challenger but the Mustang is just better for me – smaller, lighter, and more of a handler. Truck-wise, the F-150 is the standard measuring stick for other pickups and it’s really great at everything it does. But having a closer look at the new generation of Ram 1500, that would have to be my choice for the truck. The cabin is just excellent, with more features and comforts than the Ford. The mild-hybrid V8 and air suspension are added bonuses. I also found the RAM to be easier to drive in cities.

I just don’t know. I want to say the F-150 in CrewCab Raptor version and the GT350R would be the ultimate, but that really isn’t one of the packages above. The F-150 Limited and a Mustang GT PP2 would have to be it. So, which would do you pick?
