Everybody here probably knows Jay Kay as both a singer and a massive gear head. In fact, aside from AC/DC’s Brian Johnson, there’s probably no current musical artist that seems just as passionate about their cars as they are about their music. Yes, I’m aware of Nick Mason, drummer for Pink Floyd and noted collector, but I still think the Jamiroquai lead tops them all.

In this video for the song White Knuckle Ride, off the 2010 album Rock Dust Light Star, Jay Kay is supposedly piloting a helicopter in a cat and mouse chase with a sweet Porsche RS. The chopper was actually flown by a stuntman for the video, filmed in Spain, but the Robinson R44 is in fact owned by Jay Kay, who maintains a pilot’s license. Check it out after the jump.

Given his penchant for collecting cars there is a good possibility that the RS was owned by Jay Kay as well.
He is something of a Porsche conessieur: A friend of a friend had pulled up on the Kings Road (Chelsea, London) in his 2.7RS (a genuine Lightweight , not repo.). From behind he heard a should of "Nice Lightweight!", turned round and saw Jay Kay with a big grin and thumbs up.
