Chevy Enthusiast via Hooniverse: Chevy Power at the Sears Pointless 24 Hours of LeMons.

This is a story that ran in the September issue of Chevrolet Enthusiast that went live this weekend. So in keeping with Team Trailing Throttle and its bit for a second round of LeMons Glory, let’s take a look at the other Chevrolets that competed in the warm California Sun at Infineon Raceway for the Sears Pointless race that took place in March of this year….

There were only five racers that carried the “Chevy” banner: A 1977 Camaro “Shallow Hal”, a wretched 1984 “C-4 Demolition” Corvette”, the “007” Jaguar XJ6 with a Chevy 327 under the bonnet, a 1955 Chevolvo cribbed from a 1988 Volvo 240 with a Chevy Small Block, and “Team Unsafe at Any Speed” with their 1965 Corvair Coupe. The latter two teams have a competition profile within the article, so if you want to read more, go and take a look at Chevy Enthusiast. You no longer need to register to read the issue, so why not take a look at the rest of the articles.
