A new day and a new Lexus teaser. This time it is the 2024 Lexus GX.
It appears that the front end will not have the extreme “Predator” face. The last generation of GX really leaned into this look and has turned some people away from the truck.
Potentially we will see the GX on the same architecture as the Sequoia, Grand Highlander, and yesterday’s teased Lexus TX. Pure speculation is that the GX will have the 3.4L twin-turbo powertrain. We’re basing that hypothesis entirely on the “342” being a part of the license plate numbers.
The rear badge and structure look similar to that of the current Sequoia styling.
We will have to wait and see for the actual debut of this SUV. It is definitely time for an all-new redesign. The current generation has been around since the 2010 model year. And the only major changes were a facelift to the exterior for the 2014 model year. The current GX is old. It’s older than the Ford Ranger which is finally getting a new model this year as well.
