24 Hours of LeMons Torture Test: A teaser

torture_test_tease

It’s the holiday season, I hear, so next week I’ll be dropping just the gift for my fellow 24 Hours of LeMons nerds: A full update of Murilee Martin’s 2010 LeMons Torture Test. The method differs slightly from the original post and there will be more car types on the list (74 of them, in fact), but there will be some surprises on the list. I won’t bog you down with details here, but rest assured everything will be explained as well as any part of LeMons can be on Monday with a lengthy introduction and the first pieces of the list. Check back next week!

This may make it harder for me to keep telling myself that LeMons racing is about much more than just total laps, or top speed, or lap times, or reliability, or consistency, or keeping the car running, or getting the car to start, or preventing the car from catching fire, or any of those other quantifiable so-called benchmarks.
