Top Gear India Special aired today, here is how to watch it

Three goofy old British guys are driving old British cars, a Bentley, a Mini, and a Jag, across India. Insert your own Clarksonian historic reference/analogy/metaphor in the comments section. The “programme” aired at 2000 London time, which in America is… uhmm… sometime in the afternoon.

Each year, some time before the holiday season, Jeremy Clarkson releases a DVD and this year was no different. “Powered Up” is the annual gathering of unique, interesting and exotic cars all shown through Jeremy’s unique perspective, with interesting points, at an exotic location. It maybe all metaphors with staged drag races at Paul Ricard test track, but it is good entertainment.

If you have a passion for all things automobile, it’s nearly certain that you also enjoy watching Top Gear. The two practically go hand-in-hand, and the trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May have a heavy lock on your DVR. Of the three, Clarkson is clearly the most outspoken. It doesn’t matter if he’s waxing poetic about his perceived demise of the supercar, or spewing unwanted opinions on topics non-automotive.
