Another reason why Cars & Coffee rules: Ford Skyliner displays mark of a proud engineer [w/video]

Cars and Coffee in Irvine, California is the greatest reoccurring car show on the face of the planet. It takes place every Saturday morning, and the vehicles that show up continue to astound visitors every single week. Friend of Hooniverse Leo also arrives every Saturday to capture images of the awesome, which he then shares on the site CNCPics.com.

One vehicle in particular caught Leo’s attention and lens-work at a recent CnC, and he thought it would be a perfect fit for you folks here in the Hooniverse.

He was right…

Italian-American muscle machine mash up leaves us… confused

It’s called the Tractorri, and the oddball automotive mash up mixes two unlikely vehicles against each other in an all-out assault on the senses. At first glance, the car seems like prior-generation Ford Mustang wearing an odd body bit and the wrong wheels. Take a peek inside or under the rear glass, and things take a far stranger turn.

Underneath the skin, this Mustang hides an Italian secret… it’s actually a Lamborghini Gallardo. Che cazzo!

Tractorri made it’s debut at the 2007 SEMA show, but it recently popped in to Irvine, California for a visit to Cars and Coffee. Click past the break for more photographs, courtesy of our friends at CNCpics.com.

Cars and Coffee … now with more oil!

Friend-of-Hooniverse Leo is one of the main shooters for the visual delight center that is CNCPics.com. Every Saturday morning, Leo wakes up early (or sometimes simply doesn’t go to sleep the night prior), and hauls his lanky ass down to Irvine to capture images of amazing machines.

At a recent Cars and Coffee, Leo snapped the above photograph of (what I believe to be) a particularly polarizing Ferrari 330 GT 2+2. On one hand, you can get a sense of the beauty found in the various folds and bends of the metal, while on the other hand your brain and wallet weep at the potential repair bill staring back at the owner from that shimmering lake of oil.

Feel free to add a caption in the comments section. I’m going to start things off with real easy with “Cars and Crying”. Surely you can do much better.

Cars and Coffee Irvine Continues its Automotive Assembly of Awesome

Cars and Coffee Irvine has been the place to see amazing vehicles. Regardless of what your favorite make/model/year/era may be, the fact of the matter is that it will be well represented every Saturday. Starting around 6:30am, vehicles of all shapes and sizes filter into the lot next to the Taco Bell building. We have shown many photos and discussed many vehicles here but the past weekend at CnC took it to another level.

Whether you like classic Italian beauties, vintage Japanese iron, breathtaking Bavarian beasts, or you have a desire to be put on double-secret probation, you were in luck with the Fathers Day edition of Car and Coffee…
