Cadillac has supplied the Super Bowls most valuable player with their choice of a free ride for the last eight years. The most recent recipient, Santonio Holmes, went with a Platinum edition Hybrid Escalade. A safe, comfortable, and relatively PC choice, the Escalade Hybrid is also my choice for vehicle I secretly love even though I should hate it.
Is there a choice in the current lineup of Caddys that would surprise you if chosen?
I think the PR folks will try to push the new CTS Coupe on the MVP; certainly not a bad choice. However, I would be supremely impressed if the winner steps to the plate and chooses

If they choose a DTS I sure would be suprised. My choice would be the CTS-V sedan as long as I never have to sit in the back seat as I have to fold my head into my shoulder to fit

I've seen two Cadamino's here in Phoenix, but unfortunately my camera-phone-fu was not up to par. One looked like it came from a Coupe/Sedan Deville, and the other one was definitely a mid-90's Seville. Were it not for Hooniverse, they probably wouldn't have caught my eye.

I never got the chance to drive one of the GMT900 hybrids, but I like this generation Escalade far more than I'm comfortable with. The interior's hugely improved over the plastic mess of the previous generation (fine in a $20,000 work truck, questionable in a luxury vehicle), and they're nice to drive if the road stays straight. I'd buy one used if I needed to tow something and it was within $1000 of a Tahoe.
But if I were somehow MVP (unlikely, hockey's the sport I'm least apathetic to), I'd throw Cadillac for a loop and ask for a pristine Cimarron with the stick shift and sport suspension. Maybe even get them to build a Cimarron wagon. I've also liked the idea of dropping an LSX into a Catera, but that's more out of cheapness than really wanting one over a CTS-V.
A Cimmawagon? That's briliiantly devious and subversive. I can support this. Even better, it wouldn't be too hard:
1: Find a junked Cimarron.

Shoot, you ain't kidding. Good friend in college had a Cavalier wagon – that's one of the last I've ever seen, and that was over 10 years ago. Say nothing of the hatches – I could probably count on one hand the number I saw "new" and that was in Chicagoland back in the day!
I always did like the look of hatches, they seemed like a slimmer, sportier X-body to me.
Not-so-fun-fact: In trying to confirm the existence of the hatches on WIkipedia, I just learned that the 3rd-gen Cavalier was exported to Japan and sold by Toyota as the "Toyota Cavalier". Egad! No wonder Japan hates our cars. May god have mercy on our souls.
Weirder still is the fact that Opel built a slightly larger, rear-drive, Senator based-hatch called the Monza with an uncannily similar roofline.

Cavalier hatch, really! Totally! I remember my parents had a friend with one, a Cavalier "Type-10", whatever the hell that was, and back then it was a damn good looking car. It would probably look awfully dated these days though. Haven't seen one in a long time though.

I remember in the 1990s the Georgia Tech athletic department had some Cavalier-aminos. The story I heard was that they were built at the GM factory as factory parts haulers or some such and got donated to the school. They were built off Cavalier wagons.
Naw, it's all about the Cimarron hatchback. The Pontiac and Buick J-body hatches even offered turbo four-bangers.

detroit craigslist had an LS1 powered Catera a while back, LS1 plus T-56 all for around 6 or 7 k if i remember properly it was pretty tempting… essentially a small 4 door GTO….

1000 hp/1500 ft/lbs Duramax Diesel, in a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham! Now, I've never even considered a swap like that because if I could ever afford one, particularly one in as beautiful shape as the car they started with, I could never bring myself to start cutting into it. And I would never dream of replacing the excellent interior with something as unoriginal as the one it looks like they're putting in (Billet steering wheel and a TV in the dash? Seriously?). But the basic idea is awesome.
I love the sound of an uncorked 3800. Most V6s sound pretty bad (the hollow 60-degree Chevy V6 and the irritating Nissan VQ are some of the worst, I think – the Ford Duratec 25/30, however, is quite nice) but the 3800 is… well, larger and throatier.
A diesel Cadillac made so much sense, and yet GM managed to pull it off in a Biblically terrible way with the 5.7. Sigh.
The VQ must have almost 50/50 love/hate opinion. I agree that the droning in lower rpms is a PITA, but after 5k it's one of the best around.
