Get this. The Nurburgring ain't Bonneville. Never Forget This. Turning around corners is nice, but going flat out for miles on a dead lake with nothing in the way, isolated from pretty much everything you take for granted like water, civilization (Wendover doesn't count), terrain features except for flat salt and the Silver Island Mountains, is a completely insane thing. People have died on the Bonneville Salt Flats since the Donner Party, and the heroes/ hoons/ wildmen and women who brave the Speed Week in badass cars like this are to be respected. Go look at the place, or better yet, camp there like I have, and then adjust your opinion. Hey. Get this. The Nurburgring ain't Bonneville. Never Forget This.
