Here’s a promotional video for the 700+ horsepower Hennessey CTS-V doing some quarters while testing. The in-car video is pretty good, but what makes it even better is that the brutal acceleration triggers the OnStar® accident warning and dials up a friendly operator who, like all OnStar® operators, exhibits a sweet southern drawl while making sure everything is alright. Do they only hire southern belles?
The Nissan GT-R may have a GPS-actuated lock that turns off the speed limiter when it detects you are on a race track, but does it automatically call up somebody for you to boast to about your lap times? I think not.

Two things are immediately impressive about this: 1) It's a Cadillac (?!?!!) and 2) the amount of wheel slip during the 1-2 shift means better times yet await…
Actually, when I was on the same YouTube web tangent last night, there video of a run they crossed in 10.9. So, yeah, this thing is a freakin' BEAST. This video was so full of win I just had to submit it.

I thought the OnStar call center was in Canada. Hmm… may have to punch in and ask where the hell they're located, just because I'm curious as hell now.
