Hoonivercinema- Monday Music Video

Robert Emslie December 17, 2012 Hoonivercinema

We’re going to kickstart the week with some classic Crüe, in a video that mixes Whiskey A Go Go concert shots with whatever royalty free fast car footage the director could scrounge. You may think – like most do – that Mötley Crüe is a bit of a joke, their off-stage antics demonstrating even more douchebaggage than your typical rock group, but there’s no denying that Kickstart My Heart kicks some serious ass.

Sure Tommy Lee is better known for a stick other than the one he beats his drums with, and Vince Neil’s reality TV exploits have been more cringe worthy than Crüe worthy, but Mick Mars wields a mighty axe here, even though he looks old enough to be eligible for AARP membership. Check out the tasty Crüe-dité after the jump.

One of the rockin-est tunes ever. I cannot listen to this song quietly. It must be played LOUD.

This song kept me alive once. I was stuck late in Canada because of a rental car that would not start and needed to get back to Washington for a job interview. I was tired from all the driving/walking earlier. It was late, no early, I bought MC Greatest Hits CD and coffee. Then I drove, cranked it up, every time it got to the slow part I would hit back on this track. If I ever noticed I had forgotten, that meant another few gulps of coffee.
