I’ll just leave this one here – Three Blokes in Three Hypercars

Estaban Moreno June 20, 2014 Top Gear 11 Comments

LaFerrari Porsche 918 Spyder McLaren P1

One can only assume that everyone’s favorite trio of blokes from England got their hands on a LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder, and McLaren P1. Found on Reddit, two questions remain: 1) when is this Top Gear special coming out, and 2) which one is going to win?

I’m betting the Porsche will provide a surprise upset, and the Ferrari will be the slowest to lap Dunsfold Aerodrome. What say you?

I don't know what it is about that picture, but my brain keeps thin kings it's a screenshot from a video game like Forza.

      Stupid me relying on autocorrect.

My brain keeps thinking its a screenshot is what I meant to say.

I think that's not from Top Gear, but this a few weeks back http://www.autoweek.com/article/20140610/CARNEWS0

Courtesy embed. I must say, the catsuits the grid girls are wearing are quite fetching. Oh, yes, and I'd rather have the Agera R over any of the other three.

    But…who's carrying their stuff?

I presume you saw this on BaT recently: http://bringatrailer.com/2014/06/20/1996-volvo-85

      • Woah!

Yes, I did – wrote that sourly sticker comment. I guess one has to start somewhere, but why do the feathers before the meat? I don't get it.

        • craigsu

Well, since it's basically a rolling advertisement for the garage that owns it I don't have a problem with it. I do understand your point of view, however. I got a good laugh out of the commenter who said "a Honda Fit will carry just as much if not more." Really? Let's do the math, shall we?

          Cargo capacities:

Honda Fit: 12 cu ft rear seat up, 49.2 cu ft seat down
850 wagon: 37.1 cu ft rear seat up, 67 cu ft rear seat down

          Not. Even. Close.

Hehe, these unscientific trolls will end up giving me a fit.

It's cool stickers, no doubt. Just not my cup of tea – if I have to choose looks or performance, I'm not even blinking.
