LAAS 2012: This truck did something much cooler than your truck

It’s day two at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, and we’re still here trying to find you some cool stuff to share. Well, Rob isn’t here… either is Jeremy. So it’s just me now, anchoring down a spot in the press room, surrounded by bagels, coffee, and desperation. Regardless, I’ll forge ahead and point out stuff as I find it, in between your regularly scheduled programming.

First up for today is this Toyota Tundra. It doesn’t seem that special, despite the large lettering to alert you that, yes this is TUNDRA and IT HAS ITS OWN HASHTAG.

Click past the break to find out what makes is so special.

That’s right… it pulled a god damn space shuttle.

Sure beats the stump you uprooted with your Ferd F-15000.

Yes, but my F-150 can pull stumps all day, every day. How often would I need to move a Cold War relic down the middle of the street?

    Relevant, and cool:

Back in the day, I can remember seeing a commercial where a '73 Chevy C-10 pickup towed a 747. IIRC, the truck was 4WD, and had a 454 with automatic and 4.11 gears.
