Blipshift honors Connor’s Day with charitable shirt design

For those of you who frequent many an automotive website or forum, you’re no doubt aware of the recent gathering known as Connor’s Day. This event came together when a father put out a request for cool cars and their owners to come and hang out in order to give one young man a special day. What happened after that request was made is pretty impressive because over 1,000 cars registered to take part in this event.

To further honor Connor’s Day 2012, the T-Shirt company Blipshift has created a special shirt. Blipshift is handing over the net proceeds from the sale of this design to a charity that supports the research of a cure for children with cancer. I’m going to throw in a massive disclaimer right here because you might notice that Blipshift advertisers with us, so please be aware of that. Still, the idea behind the design of this shirt is too great not to share.

Head here for more information on the shirt, if you’re interested.

Thanks for the heads up. This story made me misty-eyed in the office yesterday, and I'm surmising that I speak for many. Just bought one for me and one for my boy.
