Last Call – Tired of the Olympics Edition

Robert Emslie August 10, 2012 Last Call

The Olympics are an orgy of sporting events most of which – especially the Summer games – fail to light fires in the hearts of car nuts. That of course doesn’t mean we can’t get in on the fun, as exemplified by the little R/C Minis used to return Javelins and ┬ádiscus’ to their origins, and these Michelin tires, which are colorfully and potentially copyright infringingly getting in the act.

Putting the blue, yellow, green and red ones on each corner would make Ken Block's next Gymkhana rather spectacular!

Michelin has had the technology to run the color right next to the black in car tires since the late 90's. There's just not much market to justify the added expense.
