Love the rear fenders, not so much on the fronts. Does the "headlight" wrap all the way from side to side?
I dig that windshield, too. I've yet to see a gracefully executed modern convertible windshield…the A-pillars are almost always way too beefy. Backseat actually looks livable!
I think they can only get away with those skinny a-pillars because it's a concept. Unless they're made of adamantium, they aren't going to provide much rollover protection.
I'd love to see them build a rollover system that would work to eliminate the thick A-pillars. I know for most cars it is prohibitively expensive, but on a flagship Caddy, there should be enough wiggle room in the price to build something that would make the engineers weep with joy.
Not that I'm capable of doing so, but I'd love to see someone with decent design experience (Rusty? The guy from Dean's Garage?) take a concept car like this and de-concept it to a feasible production car to see if it's the silly outfit or the girl underneath that we're lusting for.
I have been praying to our single God, and to various deities in polytheistic religions, that Cadillac will build a big convertible again. This was not what I had in mind. It's ugly. Now, the new XTS hits the nail on the head for sedans. Why not build a really big, perfect convertible? Not a roadster, a four or five-passenger convertible with a back seat as large as a sedan. Oh, heck, while they're at it, I'd really like a full-sized coupe. Don't MAKE me buy a Mercedes Benz CL class.
Beautiful. Dashboard needs to be flatter, that way I have a place to put the lines needed to really bring back the Eldorado vibe.

You just sent me down the fictional-alloy-wiki rabbit hole.
It's dolomite baby.
Sorry. Warning: my comments may contain nerd content.

I like the '69 Eldorado-inpsired tail.
Unfortunately, we'll never see anything even remotely resembling this.
Though, the new 300C's tail lights are mighty similar to those of the '72 Eldorado's.
The Green Hornet's Black Beauty just got some competition. Nice to see Cadillac's design team smack another homer.

Gee, I thought it was dark purple all along.
Gack! This thing makes me want to vomit, especially that purple interior. So, I guess that puts me in the minority. So be it.
If I have to have a modern Cadillac, I'd much rather have something along the lines of the Sixteen concept.
