Top Gear Season 18 Is Now Available for Your Viewing Pleasure

Kamil Kaluski January 29, 2012 Top Gear

The eighteenth season of TopGear has begun and our friends (ok, we don’t really know them, but I’m sure they’re cool) at FinalGear.com have it available for you in HD here and SD here.

After the jump are two preview videos which you have seen. Also, feel free to discuss this week’s episode. I won’t get to watch it until tomorrow night. :(

Not to give anything away but the shot of the Lambo's exhaust toward the end was amazing.

  2. Adamskiy says:

Awesome episode, except for Will.I.Am….I don't really understand why he was ever chosen/allowed as a guest.

    • craigsu says:

Indeed. His DeLorean inspiration was quite evident in the design of his IAMAUTO.

    • Number_Six says:

Definitely. Worst celebrity guest ever. No personality, no reason to be there, drives an automatic, and is one of the worst perpetrators of musical crimes the world has ever seen. Disgusting.

  3. SSurfer321 says:

Shit. Totally forget to start the torrent this morning before I left for the office. Now I'll have to wait until later tonight to watch it.

  4. UDman says:

As soon as I saw that they were doing another Supercar Comparison, only this time in Italy, I stopped watching it. Honestly, can anyone here really afford a Lamborghini Aventador, or a Mclaren MP4, or a Noble M600, even if you could buy a Noble here in the US? None of these cars will ever have a full racing version, and they appeal to the 1% of the 1%, and buy it as another trophy to their excessive egos.

The one thing I have to say about the Noble is that no one here in the US will ever know what it really is, which will make it a stealthy choice if it ever comes across the pond.

That is the reason I enjoy TG- Fruitloops in expensive cars, going fast, testing ground clearance and (spoiler alert) breaking them. Will I ever see any of these cars hustled at the track? Probably never. But it was cool to watch these guys push them.

    • BlackIce_GTS says:

      I can't afford a new Kia either, but that doesn't mean I don't care.
      I don't care because it's a Kia*.

Even if I could afford any of those, Top Gear's value as consumer advice is about 0. The Aventador isn't even in the same segment as the 458. They actually compared fuel economy at approaching top speed, how relevant is that to anything?

*They've actually been eroding their reputation as 'car company I can safely ignore because they don't make anything I care about' recently.

    • Number_Six says:

Jim, please. Have some imagination. I'll never even see a McLaren in person, but that didn't stop me from getting all tingly listening to it blast through a tunnel. If you don't like the escapist male fantasy bent, watch something else. For me and several others here it was sensational to watch and to dream about. Also, it's a show directed at the UK, you're not even supposed to see it this week.
