Robert Emslie January 25, 2012 Last Call

You can keep your peeing Calvins, your praying Calvins, and your cutsie family stickers. I say, if you’re gonna’ do back glass, go big or go home, and this speedo wiper is pretty durn big.

Genius, but I absolutely abominate drivers that can't maintain a consistent speed.

    • ptschett says:

The speed indication from one of these would have been reasonably accurate for the 1st-gen Geo Metro 5-door driver who passed me in my pickup last night. He wound it up to something like 75 on I-29 (southbound) to make sure he beat me to the I-94 ramps, just to go 15 MPH slower than me on the ramp to I-94 (westbound). I was going 60-65 the whole time…

It'd be appropriate on my 745, as the rear wiper and speedometer both work when they feel like it.

  3. jeepjeff says:

So, if you cannot see out the rear window you need to slam on the gas, slam on the brakes, slam on the gas, slam on the brakes and continue repeating until the window is clear?

  4. Alff says:

Like most Americans, he only uses the metric system intermitently.

Hellz yeah, Nissan Murano, biatches!! You don't see those much!

Stupid AMC Javelin got in the way though…

I'm just getting into the first cup of coffee this morning, and as the page started to load, my fuzzy brain kicked into overdrive screaming, "No, I don't want to see someone who used a pair of underwear to protect the back glass from a missing wiper blade! Noooooooo…" I was greatly relieved to see this picture.

      There's always money in the… um… banana… hammock…

      Ugh…

Yeah, I'm still waiting for my coffee to kick in too.

That's right, Dawg, my Subaru does 0-250 in about two seconds. And I can do it all day long. If it's raining.

I just found out I work down the road from this place: http://www.contemporarycorvette.com/

C5 and C6 rolling chassis being readily available is not something I needed to know about.

  9. dukeisduke says:

That's one of the most clever rear window graphics I've seen. Kudos.

  10. Bill says:

C op:"Sir do you know how fast you where going?"
    Driver:"55"
    Cop:"Funny, your wiper said 140"

Hellz yeah! 9C1 Caprice! I have no idea what that other thing is, but it said "3.0csi" or something on the back. It was kinda clean, I guess.

Here's the full version so you can see that 9C1 in all its foggy glory: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-o0G9MQwLXWE/Ty

Disclaimer: I'm aware this one actually isn't quite as funny, since the 9C1 is actually kinda cool, and you can barely make out the 3.0csi… :( I also saw a cute blonde girl driving a Porsche Speedster, but I was using my phone for music purposes at the time…

that would be cooler as a tach
