Top Gear India Special aired today, here is how to watch it

Three goofy old British guys are driving old British cars, a Bentley, a Mini, and a Jag, across India. Insert your own Clarksonian historic reference/analogy/metaphor in the comments section. The “programme” aired at 2000 London time, which in America is… uhmm… sometime in the afternoon.
After the jump are two preview videos and directions on how to watch the show in US. And I don’t want to hear any hipster talk of how you used to watch TopGear before anyone else, and how it now went mainstream (just like Hooniverse), and how you’re no longer interested in it. Grab your grande skim latte with extra shot, keep the 4GS handy, sit back and watch.

Go here, finalgear.com. Download the episode. If you have never done before, search the site for directions. Good luck.

Worst Top Gear Christmas Special…..In the world!
Really? I'm saving it for a flight early next month.
It's better than nothing, but ought to have been condensed into half the time.
Worst Top Gear UK Christmas Special. They've done a lot better, but this is still good fodder for whiling away the time on a flight. I don't regret watching it.
The bits on the highway were good at least. The garden party was godawful and should have been cut.
Dear BBC: If you can be bothered to provide full-length Top Gear and Attenborough-narrated nature shows here in the colonies, you could shut up and take my money already.
They're rolling out the BBC iPlayer globally, only it's exclusive to the iPad and the subscription rate in Canada and Australia is about $9 a month…
"Exclusive to the iPad" means I'll never buy it due to my irrational hatred of Apple products combined with my somewhat more rational hatred of useless tablets.
My thoughts exactly!!!
It's weird, they list the episode as being Episode 7 of Season 7 (last season). Since it's new, it should be Episode 1 (or Episode 0) of Season 18.
It all depends how you look at it. If you look at it as this epsiode being the last one of their 2011 episodes it makes sense to include in their second 2011 season, season 17.
But time wise the special is a lot closer to the start of season 18. They could just call it the 2011 Top Gear Special and not include it with any season!
And then, they could not include it on regular DVD release of the seasons, wait a year and sell "special, limited, collector edition" dvd which would include it! Profit!

That was one of the worst things they have ever done. I couldn't even sit through most of it as I felt that they stepped over the line from being funny to being outright insulting towards the people of India. Plus, why ruin that awesome example of the Mini that I am pretty sure that anyone here would love to be able to own? I dream of owning a Cooper Sportpack and to see one trashed for the sake of some unfunny attempt at humor just wound up making me angry. Sorry but I didn't just dislike this episode, I hated it.
