Last Call- A Girl, A Guzzi Edition
Looking at this photo, it’s hard to imagine that the Moto Guzzi 90° V-twin at one time powered something called a mullo meccanico, but that might be a good opening line for this bella ragazza.

There is always something interesting to see at the Trevi fountain… Guzzis are nifty motorbikes; a good blend of style, size, comfort, and power.
My favorite Trevi moment was stumbling through late one night after a significant amount of grappa following a great meal which itself featured a significant amount of wine. At Trevi, there was a football(soccer) team celebrating a big victory with many beer kegs and much singing. There must have been 200 fans all drunkenly bellowing their team song.
How do you afford your bad Moto-Guzzi? Hmm, I wonder how she looks on an Italian leather sofa?
I was told there would be Cake. I am not disappoint.
Have either of you seen them live? I've always wanted to, but have heard that the lead singer doesn't seem to really want to be there and it effects the show.
Yes I have. It was a free show at the local horse racing track. I was pretty far back in the crowd and to be honest I was somewhat inebriated, so I'm not the best judge. But they sounded great and I enjoyed the show. They are probably my favorite band.
Good to know.
I saw them in 1995 at the Cow Palace in SF. They played all their hits from "Fashion Nugget". It was one of those radio station "10 bands for 10 bucks" shows. Also saw Beck (amazing) and Allen Ginsburg that night. I regret that I was a little too young to appreciate it fully.
I haven't… Cake's a band I liked in high school/college, but not as much any more. I couldn't resist taking LTDScott's bait, though.

Unrelated to anything, but I suddenly want a Lada Niva. Not entirely sure I'm nearly eccentric enough for Niva ownership, however.
I once owned a Lada , it was a great little beater until the day it ate its crank bearings
These Guzzi classics are gorgeous. All the reviews say they are underpowered – more of a "starter bike" by American standards. A big bore machine with PAH that looked like this would go on my list for sure, but this one – not so much.
She does make it look good though.
A new V7 is on my list of bikes to by in the coming decade. They are under-powered compared to the competition, but the look just sells it. Beautiful bikes.
Thre's a Moto Guzzi that someone here at work rides in occasionally. The tank is a lovely orange and brown two tone.
Stunning looks, beautiful lines, well-polished, exotic, complicated, quirky, expensive to maintain, hard to start in the mornings, likely to break down randomly.
The motorcycle I'm talking about, people…
She could make me want an AMF era Harley.
thats one hot babe & 1 cool bike!
