Hooniverse Wagon Wednesday: A Brown Wagon For Everyone!
Literally, you could haul everyone in this thing!
I spotted this landlocked yacht moored to a curb while traipsing around SLC on my lunch break yesterday.
Who doesn’t love a beautifully maintained Country Squire ahem Sedan? And it’s brown too!
Interestingly, it reminded me of a photo I took over 2 years ago on the other side of the valley:
I believe it to be the same car but I can’t quite make out the plate on the latter photo. Regardless, still cool!

I can't make out the plate either, but it does appear to include _48 T_ _, matching the 2011 picture.
Yep, it's the same plate as far as I can tell. It's neat seeing the same distinctive car again after months go by; reassuring, in a way, that it's still out there.
That's not a Country Squire, Schmo. It's a Country Sedan. Mad Science may take one of your nerd tickets for that.
Stop picking my nits! The wood grain paneling is just hard to see
It has to be the same car. There cant possibly be 2 impossibly long, brown Squires running around SLC. If there was, I do believe the world would explode.
Nice
wagonsedanwagon!Your troubles with the last picture can be solved easily: just enhance the picture. If that doesn't work, enhance it some more! I've seen it done in countless movies and TV shows: it must be true.

Awesome! Especially the King of Overactors, David Caruso.
Back in high school in the mid '70s, I'd sometimes carpool with a guy that drove the green version of that brown wagon.
You know I bet there is a wee bit of space under that hood that could have been used for the passenger compartment but hey this was the 70s we dont care about that!! This guy that worked in the space next to my biz had a Chevy Nova and when he popped the hood I noticed all this open space and the lack of legroom in the rear seat. But did you really care back then?
A proper engine bay is one that you can stand in while working on the engine.
Truly. I can do that while working on the engine in my F100.
Is that the old Dee's on North Temple? (obligatory SLC reference, even though I haven't set foot there in years. Like I'm hip or something)
dang dude good eye!
