Mystery Car!
Well Hoons, it’s friday and you know what that means. Mystery car! I stumbled upon a vehicle very similar to this last evening when I was 8 layers deep, and thoroughly lost in Tumblr sites (once you go in, it’s damn near impossible to get back out). Despite my best efforts, I could not identify the model. Lucky for me, there are alot of contributors to this site that have nothing better to do than sit around in their underwear, eating pizza from a vending machine, and looking at porn cars. I had my answer (as well as some off-topic TMI) rather swiftly. And what better thing to do with newfound knowledge than cut out all the important bits and tease you lot with it.
You know the routine; year, make, model etc.

I'll venture a guess and say it's a NSU RO80. It was the first front drive car to have a rotary engine (of 80 cubic inches). Sadly though it was so problematic that warranty claims weakened the company so much that they were ripe for a takeover from VW.

Damn… I searched every European make I could think of (even Zastava, ZAZ and Dacia!) but forgot about the VW K70. I feel so ashamed…

Volkswagen K70, somewhere between 1970 and 1975. The one pictured below is a '71.

Seeing as how the target audience of Hooniverse mostly overlaps with the type of people who are likely to edit the Wikipedia articles on mystery cars, that's probably a good point.

A quick search reveals that grind is indeed the largest location based all male dating app for the iPhone. Their main page does have a pop up asking you: "what if I don't have an iPhone? What if I'm a lesbian or strait?" They have "solutions" for all these lost souls as well…
Technically, they're "rubber pants," not underwear.
..And saving the Lycra cycling pants for more important occasions…

more peugette! – there was a great article in a late 1970s edition of Car Styling Magazine with an interview with Pininfarina on the design of the car. They had some interesting things to say about designing cars in the face of new safety and emissions regs.
I saw a LeCar parked on the side of the road today.
It's February, 2011, and I live in Southern Ontario. I expected it as much as anyone expects the Spanish inquisition.
It would be even more incredible if you saw it driving on that road.
It was a warm day, perchance it came out of hibernation.
I haven't seen a LeCar in ON in 15-20 years.
It was hinted to me yesterday that this would be a VW/NSU K70, and here we are.

What, just looks like a normal commute day to me!
I was trying to remember the stunt driver's name, Remy something… Then I saw it in the credits – Remy Julienne! He did some crazy things, like jumping a car from the top of one building to another. Awesome stunt driving. The film is "Pas de problème!" ("No Problem"), from 1975:
