Hooniverse Weekend Edition: Last Call; Now That’s a Grill!
If you could call a cooking appliance manly, the Barbecue Grill could be called that. What man doesn’t dream of having a big one (Hey I’m talking about a BBQ Grill, so get your mind out of the gutter) sitting on the patio, or deck, or having a tow-able one. Well, feast your eyes on this thing.
This is a BBQ grill made from the front end of a 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. According to the listing:
Built from a real 1979 Pontiac Trans Am front end, this Mayan Red custom barbeque grill was completely hand-fabricated! It was professionally built by a master fabricator and champion griller with heavy duty steel! Fitted with a reverse-tilt hood, it exposes a generous grilling area and enough storage for two removable Igloo 50-Quart coolers with cup holders and internal food trays! Two utensil trays are also mounted just behind the grill surface as well. The grill surface measures 43” wide x 18” long, with a pit 14” deep. This well comes fitted with removable grilling surface, elevated charcoal platform, 6 air/smoke vents individually controlled by authentic throttle bodies, along with 3 external gauges, to control the grill temperature!
The original chassis is still fully intact and reinforced to operate as a mobile trailer. It comes with a 2” locking receiver hitch, original 15” Snowflake wheels with matching spare tire, and manual operated post using the original Trans Am steering wheel! The rear side of the grill houses taillights that still function properly for road use through a standard wiring harness.
Perfect for tailgate parties, Pontiac shows, special events, car rallies, and a host of other ideas that could go on and on! It really is a must see item to appreciate how well it was designed and executed! The construction is top notch making this a true one-of-a-kind item!
For $4,995, it would be a must for any Pontiac Enthusiast who like to do a little BBQ! A Black and Gold version would send the testosterone meter into the red!See the listing here.

You can smoke tires, too.
