Aural Pleasuring, Courtesy of Group B

The moment I put this clip on the TV, the cat appeared; clearly he wanted to see it close-up.

We love a good aural pleasuring as much as anyone, but there’s something about this rapid-fire series of racing clips that just pushes all the right buttons. For virtually everyone, apparently.

Courtesy of our good friend tenbeers, this clip is nothing more than one pass after another as the various racers fly past the camera. Just sit back and watch these amazing legends of motorsport; something about seeing these cars in action is both exhilarating and heartbreaking. We get to see what happens when they create a racing league that is as awesome as they can make it: it gets canceled.

Oh man, 11 minutes! Awesome. I would watch at work, but my Mac seriously HATES flash, so I will take this one home…. Is it 5 yet?

  2. andy wallwhore says:

That was awesome. So many different and unique engine notes, & I was proud of myself for recognizing that NA V6 (Renault?) you guys posted recently too. Rally ho!

That guy in the first shot… that's what I looked like during the entire video …besides the moments when I was rubbing my nipples.

Here is what I learned from that glorious 11 minutes:
    1. The Audi 5-cylinder turbo creates a sound I could listen to on repeat for a really really long time.
    2. BMW M1 has a poor turning radius, no handbrake, or just a bad pace note. No matter what, you don't want to be using reverse on a special stage.
    3. The safari rally should rejoin the WRC calendar.
    4. Even Snoopy loves Group B.

    Seriously, AWESOME video!! Love it!

  6. Lions and turbos and rev-limiters…oh my!

    This needs a warning:

For erections lasting more than 4 hours, take the video off repeat and contact your doctor.

Oh man, that was totally worth the wait. Goddamn, that was boneriffic!

That Audi, man what a sound it made. That video just reminds me that we have made huge strides in tire and suspension technology, those cars today wouldn't be quite so much a handfull as they used to be. Thats not to say they wouldn't be a handfull they just wouldn't be quite so all over the road and off it.

  11. FЯeeMan says:

The physical demands of beating over broken roads, the mental demands of focusing at such a high level for so long – those I could have dealt with. The one thing that would have kept me out of Gruppe B (other than the obvious lack of skill) would be the thought that through absolutely no fault of my own, some moron fan wouldn't move quite soon enough and would become a hood ornament. As much as I'd have like to have been there to watch, there's something about the comfort of the living room that makes this even more enjoyable.

Oh, and that was the fastest 11 minutes of my life. And, that was the best car video soundtrack I've EVAR heard!
